Changing landscapes of Singapore

Attended 2 lects for this module so far... one on tues... n the make up lect on wed... heh... my 250 points dumped in during bidding is worth it i feel... for one, the lecturer is good! Cos she's able to hold my attn... hehe... N secondly, the topics seems interesting... get to learn abt the different places in singapore and the activities going on... though i'll have alot to read up on my own cos it's a geog module n i have not taken geog since sec 2! N there's a fieldtrip too... dunno which place i should choose to go lehz... think most prob i will choose changi chapel n changi boardwalk... hehe... the only sad thing abt taking this mod is that there's no one taking it with me ya. Well for those who have not taken any ss module... i recommend this one (if the lecturer is the same)... for those who have alr taken ss... it's offered as a gem too =)

Chinese Tradition

This is one module that i'm still groaning abt... absolutely do not have any interest in taking it... n the only happy thing is that i have a whole of frens taking with me... hahaz... n will be doing the project with grace n shu ying... so not that bad ba... just hope that i can comprehend n appreciate this module abit more... the elders must be shaking their heads cos i am not interested in learning abt my roots at all... hee... i really dun care wat confucius think... n in addition... i do not agree to some of his values and thinkings as well... i dunno if it means that i am a bad person or wat... but somehow or other.... i just have a diff way of thinking from him ya. In addition... i wonder why he is so free man... think of all these kind of things... sighz.....

CORS

Well... at this pt in time... i bet all nus students are cursing abt the cors system and i am surely no execption... I do appreciate and enjoy the fact that we r given freedom in choosing our modules and arrange our time-table... but it is indeed very stressful for us to try logging into the system the whole day w/o any success and in the end waste a whole day away... n this process repeats a couple of times during each bidding period... N one point i really ponder abt is... the system has been ard for quite sometime alr... y isit still so screwed up? I'm sure that everybody, including the system administrators will be all smiles if the system can work smoothly.

Anyway, i have been playing way too much man... haha... tut starts next wk n i have not started on anything yet... hur hur... n then... to add on to the pt in my 1st sentence of this para... i'm going to play even more over the next 3 days...

Tml will be going down to orchard with meng to meet leng lee, doreen and maybe my ex-neighbour at work kevin for lunch... tat is if i dun get stuck in sch in the case that i have to go down and appeal for tutorial slots. Saturday will be going for sci bash! Yay... this will be my 1st attempt at clubbing! Nv been to one b4, so tot i will go this one to look look see see... since the gals in my og are going... hee... but then i intend to leave early... so won't be clubbing at the "correct" hour... One thing is that i dun think i will really like clubbing... cos i dun dance... and i dun like crowded and noisy places... n i absolutely hate smoky places too! but i had always been very eager to go clubbing at least once to feel wat it's like. So i am looking forward to this. N then sunday will be meeting up with temp club to catch up with each other and go for ktv...

Like that leh... where to squeeze in time to do tutorials? Oopsie... but being the guai me who always do tutorials... i will find a way... hur hur....
